AO+MBBR Process Flow Diagram

Characteristics of the AO+MBBR Process
1. High resistance to shock loads: The combination of AO and MBBR processes significantly enhances biochemical treatment capacity, thereby improving the system’s ability to withstand fluctuations in influent flow rates.
2. Small oxidation tank volume and low infrastructure investment: By utilizing MBBR carriers and optimizing biochemical parameters, we achieve high biomass per unit reactor. Meanwhile, through optimized steel structure design, we reduce the tank volume and lower infrastructure investment.
3. No packing accumulation or blockage: Thanks to a specially designed interception mesh, packing blockage is prevented, equipment failures are reduced, and packing loss is minimized.

4. The MBBR process has a low sludge production rate, thereby reducing sludge disposal costs: By employing a rationally designed structure that fully leverages the carrier function of the MBBR, we can enhance the efficiency of microorganisms throughout their life cycle. Through precise control, we can lower the sludge production rate and consequently reduce sludge disposal expenses.
5. Biodiversity enables simultaneous short-cut denitrification + anaerobic ammonium oxidation: By leveraging post-short-cut denitrification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation, more efficient nitrogen removal is achieved.
6. Stable effluent quality: Through precise control and full utilization of the process’s capabilities, the overall effluent quality is significantly improved.
