Solar-powered intelligent stainless steel modular water purifier
The polycrystalline solar photovoltaic panels convert sunlight into electricity, which is transmitted to the solar self-regulating energy storage system housed in the electrical control box of the solar water purifier’s automatic control system, and then supplied to power the solar intelligent conversion control system.
Prepare a polymerized aluminum chloride coagulant (or flocculant) solution of a specified concentration in the ground-level chemical dissolving tank. Utilize an intelligent, self-controlled chemical boosting system that operates based on the liquid level in the high-position chemical storage tank located atop the water treatment equipment: when the liquid level in the high-position tank reaches a certain threshold, the system stops; when the level drops below that threshold, the system starts. This system boosts the chemical solution into the high-position tank for replenishment. Leveraging the gravity from the high-position tank—and with the aid of a constant-level controller—ensures that the gravitational force acting on the chemical tank remains stable, unaffected by fluctuations in the liquid level within the tank. The chemical solution is then introduced into the inlet pressure pipeline of the equipment, where it is mixed with the incoming water flow via a dedicated dosing flow control valve. This valve allows precise adjustment of the chemical dosage according to the incoming water flow rate and turbidity levels.
The disinfection process employs a gravity-fed disinfectant dosing device that requires no power to operate—instead, it relies on gravity for dosing. The device is equipped with a constant-level controller to ensure stable dosing rates. Additionally, it features an automatic shut-off function that prevents overdosing in the event of a water supply interruption, effectively eliminating the risk of excessive disinfectant addition during water outages.

As a result, coagulants cannot be added effectively or their dosage becomes unstable, seriously impairing the purification performance of the water treatment equipment. Moreover, the absence of an electrical supply makes it difficult to enhance the equipment’s automatic operation capabilities. To address this challenge, our company has developed an intelligent water purification control system that operates on solar power, building upon our existing gravity-fed dosing devices. This system is complemented by online solar-powered water quality monitoring and remote monitoring features, forming a solar-powered smart water purifier. The system enables intelligent control of the water purifier, allowing users to remotely monitor, operate, set parameters, and perform maintenance via a mobile app—without the need for on-site personnel. Users can keep real-time track of the equipment’s status and manage its operations from anywhere. Through online water quality monitoring, the system regularly tracks the water quality parameters—including pH value, turbidity, temperature, and free chlorine levels—and collects data via a PLC, which is then displayed on a local color touch screen. Additionally, a GPRS (4G or 5G network) remote transmission module ensures that the data can be transmitted to a remote mobile app for further monitoring and management.
